4 Other Events To Look Forward to in June 2012

The South African Winter is in full swing, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stay indoors at all times. Our winters are a bit more manageable if you compare them to the European and North American winters. Lots of things are happening in June 2012. In our previous post about Events coming up in June we mentioned the Top Gear Festival in Durban, The Home Expo at Emperor’s Palace, the Cape Town book fair, the Top Car Gauteng Motor show and the Napier Patat festival. It seems that more things are happening than we thought though.

Durban International Boat and Lifestyle Show
Durban International Boat & Lifestyle Show:his event takes place from the 22nd to the 24th of June 2012 at the Durban Marina. The show offers all things aquatic and much more and will be showcasing some of the most affordable and luxury craft available on the market. New models will be launched and new makes will be introducing themselves for the first time to the Durban public. There will be powerboats, yachts, gadgets, radios, jetskis, diving, towcars or watertoys at this years show. The show will be open daily from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. Fine Brandy Fusion
Fine Brandy Fusion: The Sandton Convention Centre will be hosting this event from the 27th to the 29th of June 2012. Fine Brandy Fusion is SA’s top trend-creating drinks event and is marking its fifth anniversary this year. Fine Brandy Fusion is part social happening, part learning experience and this event reflects brandy’s refined and its fun side. The event will be open from 5 PM to 9 PM on the days and no entry will be allowed after 8:30 PM. Tickets are available for R195 via Computicket or at the door. No visitors under 18 years are allowed. Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show Public Tasting: This event takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on the 15th of June 2012. Visitors will be able to taste around 90 of South Africa‚Äôs top wines as judged in the recent Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show in an informal showcase environment. This year the Trophy Wine Show is in its 11th year of bringing the country’s best to wine consumers. The highlight of the show is the Most Successful Producer Trophy which is annually awarded to the producer who has achieved the most medal winners. East London Food & Wine Fair: From the 28th to the 30th of June 2012, the Beacon Bay Country Club will be hosting this event. Visitors can taste more than 300 lables of the finest wine.Over 50 top South African wine estates and 30 food boutiques will be represented. Visitors are invited to live a little, taste a lot, explore their senses and celebrate life. Food lovers will not be disappointed either, there will be plenty to tantalise your tastebuds.
