5 Exciting Father’s Day Events to look forward to

This year Father’s Day is celebrated on the 16th of June in South Africa. I’m pretty sure that many of you are probably wondering what you should do to pay tribute to the most important man in your life. If you’re in Pretoria, make your way to De Kloof Restaurant at the Waterkloof Golf Club in Johann Rissik Drive. This restaurant was named one of the top 100 restaurants in South Africa recently, so you won’t be disappointed.  This year’s Father’s Day festivities starts at 10 AM. Brunch is a three course set menu with the gourmet treatment given to the classic full English and lunch is a four course menu and all dads will receive a 380 ml Naked Mexican Craft Beer on arrival. If dining in a restaurant thing is not your thing you can order a picnic basket that the whole family can devoure on the De Kloof Burger stoep or on the lawn. If you’re in the Mother City, treat dad to Le Good Life at the House of J.C. Le Roux in Stellenbosch. This Father’s Day feast takes place at the Le Venue restaurant. Dad will have mouth-watering dishes to choose from. For starters he will have the choice between creamy mussel and smoked snoek soup or Portuguese chicken salad. For mains he can tuck into Renshaw’s oxtail served with garlic mash potatoes or pan-fried line fish with a citrus and parmesan salad. If you are in the Friendly City, check out the Petrolhead Paradise Moto Show. This event is actually on from the 14th to the 17th of June 2013 at the Moffett on Main Lifestyle Centre in Port Elizabeth.
