It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 6 years since South Africa got the news that it would be hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It’s been a long process with ups and downs but South Africa has pulled through (like we always do). South Africa will become the only the 2nd country in history to have hosted the Cricket, Rugby and Football World Cup tournaments.
There are only 50 days to go until the tournament kicks off in Johannesburg and hype for the 2010 FIFA World Cup is on the increase around the world (especially in South Africa). Stadium construction is on schedule and the venues are ready to be handed over to FIFA. The whole country is gearing up for the tournament.
We have done numerous posts about the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This is a list of them.
