It’s hard to believe that July is around the corner already. It feels like it was only yesterday that 2012 kicked off. Winter is still in full swing in South Africa, but that doesn’t mean that nothing is happening in this wonderful country of ours.

Mr Price Pro: This event takes place from Monday the 2nd of July to Sunday the 8th of July 2012 in Ballito. Every year sun worshippers, music lovers and surfing fans head to the sub-tropical coastline of Kwadukuza on the Kwazulu-Natal North Coast for the popular Mr Price Pro Ballito for loads of fun in the sun. The internationally recognized surfing competition will take place at Willard Beach. Durban Airshow: This takes place at Viriginia Airport in Durban on Saturday the 14th of July 2012. The Durban Airshow will be on from 10 AM to 4 PM on the day and will have lots to offer the whole family. National Antiques & Decorative Arts Faire: This event takes place from Friday the 20th of July to Sunday the 22nd of July 2012. The Sandton Convention Center will be hosting this event. Franschhoek Bastille Festival: This annual event is scheduled for the 14th and 15th of July 2012 in Franschhoek in the Western Cape. Entertainment will range from a French Film Festival at Le Quartier’s Screening Room, to boules, a chefs and waiters race, street soccer, a barrel-rolling contest, fly-fishing competitions and live music. Cape Town Fashion Week: This event in the Mother City takes place from the 25th to the 28th of July 2012 at the Cape Town Internation Convention Center. It’s a first for South African Fashion. AFI have invited selected design powerhouses to present their Autumn / Winter 2012 collections at various iconic venues.
