Dear Pet Lovers
The Festive Season is here. Many of us are preparing to have parties, spend quality time with loved-ones or go on holiday. You would never just leave your pet behind; much less just dump them next to the road, would you?
Sadly this does happen. People go away and simply leave their dogs and cats behind, without taking them to a boarding kennel or getting a house sitter to look after them. Some simply decide that the pet is no longer wanted and dumps it next to the road.
Animal rescue organizations like Wet Nose get a big influx of abandoned animals during the December holidays. The number of animals in their kennels increases dramatically over this period.
We have received a call for help form Wet Nose saying that they are running out of dog- and cat food.
We would like to call on you to please donate as much pet food as you can to this non-profit organization. They really do a lot to help animals.
You can drop off your pet food donations at:

If you’re an animal lover please consider supporting them or similar organizations this festive season. Please don’t give a pet as a gift for Christmas and consider reducing the number of animals in shelters, by giving a homeless pet a new home.
I wish you a joyous, peaceful and blessed festive season.
