Great news for fans of action films! The fifth Die Hard movie is coming soon! The film is called A Good Day to Die Hard and this time John McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to Russia to help out his son Jack (Jai Courtney). McClane discovers that Jack is a CIA operative working to prevent a nuclear-weapons heist and teams up with against underworld forces.
A Good Day to Die Hard will be released in February 2013 in the United States. Besides Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney, the film will also feature appearances by Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Yuliya Snigir and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. “A Good Day to Die Hard” is definitely one of the most anticipated action films of 2013. The film is directed by John Moore (who also directed 2008’s “Max Payne” and 2001’s “Behind Enemy Lines”). A Good Day to Die Hard plays off in Moscow, but filming was primarily done in Budapest (in Hungary).
The first film was made on a budget of $28 million and earned over $140 million at the box office. The three films that followed (Die Hard 2: Die Harder, Die Hard With A Vengeance and “Die Hard 4.0”) were also very successful. Some folks are calling these films the 4 best action films of all time, so if you’re an action film fan and you don’t own these films on DVD, there might be something wrong with you.
I don’t think Bruce Willis will ever say “No” if he’s asked to do a Die Hard movie. Bruce Willis became a very rich man in 1985. He was the first actor in history to earn $5 million for his role in Die Hard. The John McClane character made Bruce Willis very famous.
I was actually wondering if a fifth Die Hard movie would work the other day and judging by the movie trailer below A Good Day to Die Hard is going to fun-filled action-packed ride.
The release date has for A Good Day to Die Hard in South Africa is said to be the 15th of February, but make sure that you check your Ster Kinekor and Nu Metro cinema schedules regularly if you don’t wanna miss it. What do you think of this trailer? Are you amped to see the fifth Die Hard movie or are you giving this one a skip? Leave a comment and let me know. Feedback is appreciated and welcome here.
