Great news for brides and grooms to be in Johannesburg and its surrounding areas! On the 24th and 25th of August 2013 the Coca-Cola Dome will be hosting The Wedding Expo: the South African bride’s favorite bridal event. The event is the most trusted and comprehensive bridal expo representing the bridal industry in Gauteng.
The Wedding Expo will feature up to 350 stalls and exhibits for bridal magazines, bridal accessories, bridal shoes, bridal directories, catering services, cakes and chocolates, wedding decor / accessory hire, designer bridalwear, event specialist planners, financial services, flowers, wedding gifts, gift registries, health and fitness services, hair and beauty services, wedding invitations and stationery, jewellery, legal services, lingerie, swimwear, mens wear, limousine services, wedding music and entertainment services, photography, travel services, wedding venues, videographers, wedding websites, wedding courses and much much more.
This magnificent expo was first held in 2002 and has attracted thousands of visitors over the years. The Wedding Expo has become so popular that it’s being held twice a year now (in April and in August). Each show attracts more than 15,000 visitors – some of them come from Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Kenya to check it out this premium expo.
The fashion shows (which are held 4 times daily at the Wedding Expo) are the key attraction. These fashion shows allow the expo to show support for South African designers. A clear distinction is made between them and retail stores which sell with imported wedding gowns from the United States, Italy, the UK, Spain and other countries. The organizers aim to bring value to exhibitors and visitors by remaining creative with attractions at each expo.
The Wedding Expo will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM on both show days. Tickets are available for R100 per person on the Wedding Expo website or at the entrance to the show.
