Cape Town Tens Coming Early In February!

Cape Town 10sGreat News for Cape Townians! The popular Cape Town Tens rugby event is coming soon. This year’s event will be hosted at the Hamilton Rugby Club in Green Point on the 1st and 2nd of February 2013!

The Cape Town Tens is the brainchild of former Springbok rugby players Bob Skinstad and Rob Fleck. The event is being held for the fifth consecutive year and promises to be a highlight on the Mother City’s calendar in 2013.

You can expect an exciting music line-up, appearances from local and international rugby legends, competitions and giveaways. Besides this, the event will also feature an exciting rugby expo.

You can catch an impressive 90 rugby teams spread over five divisions, including the new “We’re mainly here for the beer” division and you should not miss the international legends as well as SA’s very own Bob Skinstad and Rob Fleck as they scrum up in the Veterans Division.

This year’s live entertainment will include Goodluck, The Graeme Watkins Project, The Lightyears, aKing, Albert Frost, DJ Sox,  Lonesome Dave, SA/DC and Me & Mr Brown

The Cape Town Tens will feature three rugby fields, beer tents for thirsty, food tents for the hungry and kids play areas. There really will be plenty to experience both on and off the rugby field for the whole family at this year’s event.

There’s also an amazing prize on offer this year. One lucky person will drive away in a brand new Volkswagen Golf GTi worth R385,000. Contestants will be tested on their rugby skills and kicking for the post to determine the lucky winner.
