SA Music is alive and well and the Big Blues Music Festival in Kleinmond should be proof enough of this for you. Festival goers and music lovers are invited to celebrate summer, the sun and the sea this coming weekend in this tiny Western Cape Town.
The 2013 edition of the Big Blues Music Festival takes place from 1 to 3 March 2013. The festival features some of South Africa’s most popular Rock, Blues and Jazz artists and offers two days of world-class entertainment next to the magnificent Kleinmond Lagoon.
The festival also offers a variety of family and fun activities. Cool yourself with cold one in the beer tent, check out the wine fair, enjoy the best local cuisine and visit the stalls and kiddies club.Camping is available and there’s also accommodation in Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond.
The 2013 Big Blues Music Festival will feature appearances by Tribal Echo, Charlie King, Wolfgang Marrow, Jose Luis Pardo (Argentina / Spain), Karen Zoid, Dan Patlansky, Lyzyrd Kyngs, Crimson House Blues, Stefan Dixon, Ballistic Blues, Robin Auld Trio (UK), Valiant Swart Band, Albert Frost & The Blues Broers, Matt Woosey (UK), Natasha Meister Band, Gerald Clark Band, Machineri, Boulevard Blues Band and No one’s Arc.
