Events in Gauteng – April 2011

Nissan Easter Festival 2011: The Japanese Automaker will be showcasing some of their finest vehicles from 22 to 25 and 27 April 2011 at the Easter Festival. Visitors can enter for free and are invited to test-drive at the Nissan test-drive station, conveniently located in the Bernhard McHardy Arena. The area is equipped with comfortable seating as well as plasma screen with DSTV broadcast. Mark White Nissan will be the dealer in attendance to lend assistance, supported by a well-trained staff complement. A selection of Nissan vehicles will be on display and available for test-drive. A variety of children’s activities including a kiddies fun fair, carousel, camel and pony rides as well as an assortment of catering and stalls. The Beacon Easter Bunny will also make an appearance, the Nutriphase Animal Carnival will also take place with dogs, cats, ponies & camels. Other facilities include a tea Garden, an ice cream parlour,. a club snack bar and stalls of all types. Top Car Gauteng Motorshow: This event is held from the 30th of April until the 2nd of May 2011 at the Zwartkops Raceway in Pretoria. This annual event is one of the largest, most action packed motoring events in South Africa. The Top Car Gauteng Motorshow showcases all aspects of the motoring industry and also offers an entertainment line-up unlike any other motoring event in South Africa (which includes drifting, aerobatic airplays, bike stunts, advance driving experiences, track experiences, beauty pageants, go-kart rides, simulators, helicopter rides, competitions, a wide range of kiddies entertainment & music). The Top Car Gauteng Motorshow is an event for the whole family, offering something for men, women and children of all ages. Each show is different from the previous one. One can always expect a few surprises. Tickets for adults will cost R80, tickets for kids will cost R40 and kids under 6 years old can enter for free.
