Photo & Film Expo 2010: This event is held at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg from the 14th to the 17th of October 2010. This expo doesn’t only feature some of the top names in South African photography & film giving free workshops to attendees. There are going to be some incredible prizes up for grabs as well. The interactive nature of the show promises to keep visitors entertained. Visitors will be flying in from all over the world to attend this event that caters to not only professionals but also enthusiasts and the rest of the family.. Bring the whole family along, you can even get a complimentary photoshoot and print done on the spot. The event will featured a lot, from extreme target shooting alleys with prizes to live underwater shoots as well as numerous practical demonstrations and giveaways. It’s highly unlikely that you will be bored by this expo. Emphasis will be placed on showcasing latest talents, educating enthusiasts and the public about the overall nature of the industry and networking. Rocking the Gardens: This event is on at Emmarentia Dam in Johannesburg on the 9th and 10th of October 2010. Rambling Bones, Wrestlerish, Tidal Waves, The Dirty Skirts, Jesse Clegg, Prime Circle, Zebra & Giraffe and others will make up the line-up on Saturday and Farryll Purkiss, the Springbok Nude Girls, Flash Republic and others will make up the line-up for Sunday for the Main stage. There will also be performances by various stand-up comedians including Vittorio Leonardi, Tshepo Mogale, Pete Johannson on another stage and DJs like DJ Danger Ngozi and others will also be on the decks at the Electronic stage.
