Dinner in the Sky @ uShaka Marine World: Brace yourself for the ultimate gourmet experience, 50 metres above uShaka Marine World. 22 guests can be seated around the table that is suspended from a crane. Dinner In the Sky is one of the most unique culinary encounters that you will ever have. uShaka Marine World is the first KwaZulu-Natal venue to host this heavenly dining venue which has travelled around the globe (to cities like Lisbon, London, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Dubai, Las Vegas and Paris). Dinner in the Sky gives dining under the stars a whole new meaning. You could be enjoying breakfast or lunch with you head in the clouds, quite literally. Dinner In the Sky offers a whole new high for those planning anything from board meetings to weddings to end-of-year and New Year’s celebrations. Guests are greeted with cocktails and champagne on arrival. Once registration is complete guests are strapped into their seats and prepared for a graceful lift off. Once the table has reached between 40 and 50 metres above uShaka Marine World the flying chef and his helpers will serve starters. Popular dishes on the menu include sushi, a seafood platter or even steak flambé. This experience is priced between R150 and R500. Durban Summer Festival: This family event celebrates the diverse culture that pulsates with Durban’s urban rhythm. The Durban Summer Festival is scheduled to be hosted at the KwaMashu Bridge City Mall on the 16th of December 2010. Thousands of Durbanites and tourists alike are expected to celebrated Durban based artists and Deejays catering to all age groups in all popular music genres of the region (such as Durban Kwaito, Hip Hop, Gospel, Maskandi and House music). Not only does this event bring great musical entertainment but there will also be great giveaways, a live broadcast by Gagasi FM, live shooting by Seskhona from SABC 1.
