Events in KZN – July 2011

Ballito Prawn & Jazz Festival: This festival is held on the 8th of July 2011 at the Seaton Delaval Polo Fields. This festival focuses on fun, entertainment and family and will raise funds for charities that are associated to Rotary International, Round Table and the Lions Club. Everyone is invited to attend and take part in this opportunity to showcase the beautiful North Coast. If you’re wondering what you can do then think no more as the sports and music events, crafters market, stage entertainment, 5000 sqm of kids attractions as well as designer décor exhibits, food marquees will keep you busy. However as the event name suggests the main star of the show will be prawns. Whether you like them with peri-peri, lemon butter, garlic, plain or in a curry there will be something to make you mouth water. For more information phone Leanne on 082 4599567.

Durban International Boat & Leisure Show: This event is held at the Durban Marina from the 15 – 17 July 2011. Offering all things aquatic & much more, the Durban International Boat and Lifestyle Show will be showcasing some of the most affordable and luxury craft available on the market. New models will be launched and new makes will be introducing themselves for the first time to the Durban public. So if you are interested in powerboats, yachts, gadgets, radios, jetskis, diving, towcars or watertoys this is most definitely the event for you. The organisers are hoping to showcase even more than the incredible R150 million worth of superb craft that were displayed last year, all in their natural habitat – on and around the water. Another exciting addition to the Show is the introduction of a Boat and Classic Car Auction. All boats and cars that are up for auction will be on display during the Show. This up-market event will be run by Consolidated Auctioneers, who are specialists in the Classic Car auction field.
