Events in KZN – June 2011

Nashua Art in the Park: This event is held at Alexandra Park in Pietermaritzburg from 1 to 5 June 2011. This event celebrates its 48th anniversary this year. Nashua Art in the Park is held at a picturesque venue on the banks of the Umsunduzi River, under a grove of plane trees that obligingly sheds its leaves for a splendorous autumn show. The preparations and planning for the event is extensive and the transformation from the park as it is everyday to the wonderous “art gallery under the stars” contributes in making this event one of the country’s top outdoor art-selling exhibitions. For more info phone Pietermaritzburg Tourism on 033 3451348 or visit http://www.artinthepark.co.za/.
