Playhouse 2nd Community Arts Festival: This event is held in Durban from the 5th of May until the 21st of May 2011 at the Playhouse Loft Theatre. The festival is geared to offer a platform for artists and arts practitioners to stage their performance works in a professional environment. Three productions, entitled Just Don’t, Rice and Sisenga Ilala, will be featured in the festival. Each work focuses on important social issues. Heritage Market Bridal Fair: This event is held on the 21st and 22nd of May 2011. This is the Heritage Market’s 14th Bridal Fair. This event has been becoming more popular every year. with brides and exhibitors. The lower boulevard and the Keg’s parking lot will be transformed into a wedding wonderland. Best of all, entrance is free to brides and visitors. The Heritage Market is keeping it simple and stylish with an “Autumn Country” theme for this year’s Bridal Fair. Expect warm, rich tones and a variety of exciting exhibitors. The entertainment marquee will be in the lower boulevard and the exhibitors’ marquee in the Keg parking area.
