Zululand Expo: This event takes placed in Richards Bay from the 30th of September until the 2nd of October 2010. As the second largest combined entertainment and exhibition event in KZN, the Zululand Expo provides an ideal platform for local and national trade. The Zululand Expo also gives the public an opportunity to enjoy the latest in top South African entertainment. Entertainment includes both local and national artists and performers. This makes up a spectacular fusion of entertainment to suit all age groups and cultures. The Zululand Expo attracted major crowds last year. More than 25 000 visitors made their way to the event in 2009. The Witness Hilton Arts Festival: This event is held from the 17th of September 2010 to the 19th of September 2010 on the grounds of Hilton College (near Pietermaritzburg). It’s the 18th annual edition of this event. The Witness Hilton Arts Festival is the premier arts festival of KwaZulu Natal. It’s also one of the leading festivals of its kind in South Africa. The festival is a feast of theatre, music, dance, craft and visual art (and don’t forget about the excellent food). The Hilton College Theatre is the 2nd largest fixed-seated venue in KwaZulu-Natal. The theatre has a seating for 486 people. It’s used by the school and for commercial ventures as well. A large number of well known South African and international stars have appeared on the Hilton stage over the years.
