Pinotage On Tap – KwaZulu Natal: This event is held at the Piggly Wiggly farm near Lion’s River on the 10th of September 2011. Gallons of free flowing wine, chocolate fountains and strawberries will kick off the Pinotage party circuit for 2011 The Original Coffee Pinotage will be served on tap with canapés, strawberries dipped in chocolate and delectable, filling foods. Festival goers can look forward to an exciting line up of artists such as Lonesome Dave Ferguson and Farryl Purkiss. Pinotage on Tap will launch the new vintage of the Coffee Pinotage. Deemed the ‘People’s Pinotage’ the wine has won awards in the ABSA Top Ten Pinotage Competition, the Michaelangelo Wine Awards, 4 stars in Platter’s guide to wine, and best wine on show as voted by the public for the third time running at South Africa’s 2009 WineX events. The Witness Hilton Arts Festival: This event enters its 19th year in 2011. The Hilton Witness Arts Festival is the premier arts festival in KwaZulu Natal and one of the leading festivals in South Africa. The annual event is a feast of theatre, music, dance, craft and visual art, as well as excellent food. Hilton College Theatre is the second largest, fixed-seated venue in KwaZulu-Natal, with a seating capacity of 486. The theatre is used both by the school, as well as for commercial ventures.
