The Bush Lapa Music Festival: This event will be held over a 2 week period from the 17th of December 2010 to the 31st of December 2010 at the Bush Lapa at the Herolds Bay Eco Resort, situated in Herolds Bay (just outside George). There will be 9 main show evenings. Over 40 artists will be performing. Visitors will enjoy succulent food, a breathtaking venue and unforgettable shows. This is a family orientated event where the whole family is welcome and kids under 7 years of age enjoy free entry. The Bush Lapa is an open air venue with a rustic-African style layout. The venue can accommodate +/-400 people. The Bush Lapa is renowned for its famous boskos (oxtail, tripe, shank, chicken and seafood potjie). This is complimented by sweet potatoes, rice, krummelpap and home baked breads. A cash bar will be available for the thirsty. The fact that the stage is very close to the audience leads to very personal interaction between artist and audience. This close interaction, highlighted by the artists roaming amongst the audience, truly makes for an unforgettable experience. Tickets can be obtained from Computicket. Tickets are priced between R50 and R100 per show.
