Hout Bay Sandcastle Competition: It’s the 14th year in a row that this competition is being held. This year’s Hout Bay Sandcastle competition will be held at Hout Bay beach on the Chapman’s Peak side on the 13th February. Head down to the beach with your buckets and spades for a fun-filled day. Funds raised go toward improving facilities and sponsoring underprivileged children at Valley Pre-Primary school, Sentinel High School in the Hout Bay Harbour community and Little Lamb Crèche in Imizamo Yethu township. Hands-on Harvest: The Robertson Wine Valley is proud to announce its newest wine festival. This event will take place from the 25th to the 27th of February 2011 and offers wine aficionados and budding vintners a chance to experience the magic of harvest for a day – without having to quit their day jobs.
