Events in the Western Cape – March 2011

Cape Town International Jazz Festival: This event is held on the 25th and 26th of March 2011. This annual event is the culmination of world-renowned musicians providing a cohesive star-studded line-up. 2011 wll be the 12th time that the festival is taking place. West Coast Lagoon Festival 2011: This event is held from the 25th to the 27th of March 2011. This event is held at Club Mykonos in Langebaan. The West Lagoon Festival is filled with music events, lagoon sports and the popular Silver Falcon Air Show. The festival is ideal for the whole family. The West Coast Lagoon Festival features a childrens tent with stimulating activities especially for kids which include a puppet show, craft activities, a special clown to do face painting for the little ones. There will also be jumping castles, biscuit decorating & balloon modelling activities as well as a mini Olympics. Its bound to keep the youngsters entertained whilst parents enjoy the serious business of partying up a storm. Other highlights include food and wine stalls with cooking demonstrations, a beer tent, a Miss Lagoon competition and plenty of beach activities.
