Caledon Beer Festival: This event is held on the 29th and 30th of October 2010 in Caledon in the Western Cape. The event will coincide with The Caledon Casino, Hotel & Spa’s 10th anniversary. The Caledon Beer Festival will host a Variety of activities and entertainment and will feature performances by live bands and popular local artists. No sports action will be missed. Festival goers will be able to watch the Currie Cup Final on Saturday on the Big Screen at The Caledon Casino Hotel & Spa in the Galleria. The Boulevard Blues Band, Saber band, Valiant Swart and Ollie Viljoen are all part of the artist line-up for the festival. There will be jumping castles, face painting and a movie-and play station room to keep the kids busy while mom and day enjoy the performances. The Caledon Beer Fest is organised by The Caledon Casino, Hotel & Spa in association with the Theewaterskloof Municipality and South African Breweries. The Festival kicks off in the town centre at Donkin Plain in Caledon at 18:00 on Friday and the official part of the programme will carry on until 22:00. Greyton Rose Fair: This event takes place in Greyton in the Western Cape from the 29th to the 31st of October 2010. The Greyton Rose Fair showcases the beauty and tranquility of this fairy-like village in Spring. The them for this year is “Falling in love with Greyton – the village of romance”.
