Earthdance Cape Town: This event is on from the 17th to the 19th September 2010 at Nekkies Resort (near Worcester). Earthdance Cape Town is one of the most forward thinking, musically thrilling, and socially uplifting Cape Town events every year, exposing a huge cross section of Cape Towns finest Musicians, DJs, and Artists, from a wide selection of South Africa’s music cultures. Since 2000 the team that is now known professionally as Good Times Events has been producing and co-ordinating this unique event that has grown into one of South Africa’s premier music events and festivals. Earthdance’s vision is to unite the whole world through the universal platform of dance and music. Each year like-minded people across the planet at over 300 Earthdance events in over 50 countries come together in celebration of non-stop music, dance and peace. At 1 AM on Sunday morning (South African Time) all Earthdance individuals, private gatherings and public events across the globe celebrate and activate peace through creative expression, activism and community-building – all joining in the Prayer for Peace at the same powerful moment! Tulbagh Horse & Wildflower Festival: Nestled in the heart of the Winterhoek and Witzenberg mountains is the atmospheric little town of Tulbagh. The town puts on an annual Wild Flower Exhibition (showcasing their rich endemic flora) as well as the National Horse Championships. The Tulbagh Horse & Wildflower show offers various exhibitions, art and craft stalls, food stalls, a wine and beer garden and more. The action also includes a SAPS dog display, merry-go-round, Husky sleigh dog display, youth art, steak ‘braai’, jumping castle, mini show king and queen competition and entertainment for the kids. It’s entertainment for the whole family.
