South African Holiday Destinations

Table MountainSouth Africa is definitely one of the most beautiful holiday destinations the world has to offer. There is something for everyone, from the magical bushveld to the most beautiful beaches.

Wherever you may find yourself this holiday season, we hope you have a wonderful time.

Here are four magical places in South Africa with accommodation still available on Junk Mail:

Bushveld: South Africa is one of very few countries in Africa where it is possible to do self-drive safaris in your own vehicle. But if this is your first Safari, it will be far better to go out with a Ranger to spot all the elusive animals and teach you about the surroundings.

Cape Town: Cape Town in South Africa is one of the world’s most beautiful cities. The city has a big range of activities to suit young and old. You can visit Table Mountain, or take the kids to the Castle of Good Hope or have fun in the sun on the beach.

Durban: Durban is the principal city and port of the KwaZulu-Natal province, but you don’t really need to know anything more about it other than there’s a strip of golden bay, lapped by a swathe of warm blue sea. But, if you do stay, there are many other reasons to do so and many attractions. Durban is filled with things to do, places to stay and to go, there’s also lots of historical interest – some that might surprise you.

Port Elizabeth: An outdoor-lover’s paradise. Make sure not to miss out on boat cruises, diving opportunities, a visit to the Seaview Predator Park, an excursion to Bayworld or a trip to the lush forests of the Kragga Kamma Game Park, where white rhino, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, nyala, bontebok, lechwe and other animals roam freely.

These places are just touching the vast number of incredible places you can go on holiday to in South Africa. What is your favourite place in our beautiful country and where will you be heading to this holiday season?
