How to make money by using Junk Mail Classifieds

Have you ever noticed how many people park their cars outside their garages because the garages are full of stuff that they don’t use? Many people have lots of stuff that they have no use for but the goods are in good condition and other people could have use for them. Garages and storerooms are full of these items and they are potential goldmines gathering dust. Some of that stuff is junk to them because they have no use for it. Some of that junk sells for lots of cash on Free Online Classifieds website (like Junk Mail).

Consignment selling is an excellent way to find a lot of products to sell on Free Online Classified websites. Consignment selling is a trading agreement in which a seller sends goods to a buyer or reseller who pays the seller only when the goods are sold. The seller remains the owner (title holder) of the goods until they are paid for in full and a certain period takes back the unsold goods.

The process of consignment selling is very simple: Collect items from clients, list those items on Free Online Classifieds, split the profits and find more items to sell. You don’t have to buy stock up front and there is basically no risk of losing any money on items that don’t sell. If you don’t have space to keep the stuff, for example if you are working from home, you don’t have to keep the items yourself. Just go around to your clients place and take good quality pictures of the items and post the adverts with free online classifieds with a good description of the items and photos. With the latter option you will save on overheads like rental and other expenses. Be sure to get the terms in writing.

Selling stuff via Online Classifieds takes time and work. If you have already sold a few items on Online Classifieds site you know that there is work involved in the selling process. For many sellers the process seems easy because they enjoy doing it, but if you calculate the time involved in a typical sale, you would typically find that each item takes an hour or more to sell.

Always remember that you’re doing this to generate income and to build your own business, therefore you have to be professional, trustworthy and provide good customer service in all your business dealings. Partly or mostly the success off your business will rely on word of mouth from satisfied customers who will refer you to their friends and family members. Do some research on how you are going to charge or price your service keeping in mind the expenses you will incur by doing this, but do not over charge.
