New Zealand dominated the match (leading by 14 points to 6 at half-time) and eventually won the match by 26 points to 9.

The 3rd / 4th place playoff match will take place on Friday (the 21st of October). Wales will be taking on Australia. Both teams will be out to salvage some lost pride which could make for an interesting match.
