I have to admit that I’m a cat person. I’ve had many cats over the years and I must say that I prefer them over dogs. Cats have way better personalities. And I’m not the only one who is pro-cat, there are more than 500 million domestic cats in the world and approximately 40 recognized breeds.
Cats have even been to outer space. The first cat in space was Felicette (a.k.a. Astrocat). In 1963 France blasted her into outer space. Electrodes implanted in her brains sent neurological signals back to Earth and she survived the trip. See, cats are intelligent beings! If they develop thumbs over the next few years they could achieve anything! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
