You may not have known this, but wristwatches have been around since 1868. Patek Philippe designed and built the first wristwatch for Countess Koscowicz of Hungary. The first watch was actually intended as a piece of decorative jewellery, not a time keeping device that is worn on the wrist. The new craze took a while to catch on, but by the 1880’s the first wristwatches were produced in large quantities for the German military forces. They were made by Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux.

Today I’m featuring the 3 most expensive wristwatches on Junk Mail. Today’s list includes 2 Rolex watches and a Concord watch. All three of these time pieces are stunning, check them out below if you don’t believe me.
#3 Mens Concord C1 Watch for Sale: R41,000
This Concord C1 wristwatch actually retails for R110,000. The owner has only worn it a couple of times. It comes with all paper and boxes. It’s stainless steel with carbon fiber inlays and automatic movement. The watch is also waterproof for up to 200 meters and has a 45 hour power reserve. This advertiser is located in Johannesburg.
#2 Rolex Watch for Sale – R55,000
This advertiser is also located in Johannesburg. Sadly not much is being said about this watch by the advertiser, but it does look stunning. All that I can gather is that its an original Rolex Oyster Perpetual wristwatch and that it’s selling for the price of a medium size second hand car.
