The Baby Expo is coming to Johannesburg later this week

The Johannesburg edition of the Baby Expo will take place at the Coca Cola Dome from the 24th of November (this week Thursday) until the 27th of November (this week Sunday). The Baby Expo is the biggest and best baby and parenting expo in Africa. It takes place annually in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. The first Baby Expo (which was held in 2005) had 21,000 visitors and showcased products and services of 100 exhibitors. Over the years the expo has grown. In 2010 the Baby Expo had 105,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors. A second annual Johannesburg expo was introduced in November 2010 to address demand. This weekend’s Baby Expo at the Coca Cola Dome will be the 2nd expo in Johannesburg this year.

The Baby Expo has features and exclusive brands that no other show has, such as Barney The Dinosaur (which is brought to you by Baby City), a kids play area, an all expenses paid pregnancy competition, Pampers nappy changing rooms, a breastfeeding room, a baby clinic, a welcome and registration area, workshops and so much more. The Baby Expo is also the ideal opportunity to gain knowledge about pregnancy, being a parent and embracing the latest products under one roof. At this weekend’s expo over 400 exhibitors will offer educational workshops and show features that cater for each individual’s needs. Moms and dads will be able to pick up valuable tips and advice straight from the experts about what to expect for the next few years.

When purchasing an entry ticket to The Baby Expo at Computicket, don’t forget to reserve your free tickets to the Barney Show. All seating is unreserved and entrance to the Barney Show will open approximately 30 minutes before the show starts, so be there early to secure the best possible position.
