Next week Tuesday the 8th of July 2014 is ‘Video Games Day’. And in celebration and commemoration of “Video Games Day” we will look at the highly anticipated games to be released for different game consoles in July and August.
Upcoming games for PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360
The Last of us Remastered
The Last of us has been rebuilt for the PS4. Titled ‘The Last of us Remastered’ the game will be launched for the PS4 on the 29th of July 2014. Now in full 1080p, the game is in third person perspective, so you get to control Joel or Ellie, the two main characters of the game.
You will move through different environments from the city to the forest, in a gun fight or melee combat against the human race infected by a deadly virus that has turned them into zombies, as well as other surviving human fighting for food and weaponry.
The game is a survival story, filled with action and emotion as you travel through the new world occupied by zombies.
Sacred 3
Sacred 3 is a classic arcade mode game for up to four players. The game will be released on the 8th of August 2014 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
In a time of war, you will be a hero required to fight against the rise of evil. In your journey you will have to fight against grimmocs, brute creatures, legions and undead wizards. With your great powers you will have the ability to develop more skills and prepare for better enemies.
Sacred 3 will introduce a chance for the players to modify their heroes and make their weapons more deadly as the enemies get even more skilled. You will also be able to team up with spirits (some of them were characters from the past Sacred 1 and 2).
Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition
Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition is an action role playing game to be released on PS3 and for the first time on PS4 and Xbox one on the 19th of August 2014.
Play as male or female and journey on as a crusader fighting against your enemies, while collecting armour and weapons for the next level enemy. Get ready to fight against the clock of death.
This edition is better than the ones before as the adventure is randomized, giving you more access to choosing your characters look and ability. You can also play online against other people in the network. You will get a chance to travel countless journeys, fight souls of hell, all for the fight of the Black Soulstone.
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare
PopCap brings you a shooter game, where you can choose to either side with the plants or the zombies in a multiplayer combat mode.
You will still need to get some planting done, but the huge difference with this game is you have one objective, to vanquish as many as you can from the other team. It is a war, so you must equip yourself with the right tools, whether it is planting more flowers or pea shooters as a plant or getting geared up as a zombie.
The game will be released on the 19th of August, so get ready to have some Plants and Zombie fun.
There will be more games to be released this 2014, you do not want to be caught without one of these a PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 or an Xbox one.
