The two members of our staff are in the mobile cells at the Hatfield Plaza shopping centrum. We fully back our staff member and know that they will never do such a thing as they are loving and caring people. They are arrested, charged, jailed and fined!
Ok… Now that I have your attention, it is time for you to be part of something really big. Bigger than what you can imagine. This is in fact a call to action to you as user to get involved in the 16 days of activism against women and child abuse. Sorry for taking you on the emotional roller-coaster ride but what if that was in fact the reality?
We do however want you to contribute to this great initiative. Two of our staff members were indeed “imprisoned” this morning, but it is all part of one big role-play. The bail is set at a minimum of R200, but we don’t want to limit you to that amount. In fact, you can pay/donate any amount that you feel like donating. You will receive a receipt that will reflect your donation against women and children abuse.
This great initiative is headed by Chris Batts of Sport Against Crime in collaboration with the Brooklyn SAPS Social Crime Prevention Unit.
There will be another arresting on Friday at the Menlyn Retail shopping park, so if you want to cooperate with that event too, please feel free to do so.
For more information, please visit the Sport Against Crime Website or contact Chris on 072 206 7862, or alternatively you can visit the SAPS website for more information on how you can cooperate in the combat against violence.
