Gauteng Pet and animal lovers brace yourselves! The World of Dogs and Cats (WODAC) Expo is coming soon! The event will be held at the Gallagher Convention Center in Midrand from the 19th to the 21st of July 2013.
The WODAC Expo’s mission is to educate the public about responsible pet ownership. Visitors are invited to awaken a part of their souls! This might just be the most fun that you’ll have in 2013. The WODAC Expo will excite, educate and show you just how much fun you can have with your favorite pet.
The WODAC Expo is the largest pet expo in South Africa. The event is not limited to dogs and cats and features exhibitions for various other pets like reptiles, rats and rabbits as well.
The WODAC expo started in 1996 in Durban, but since 2003 it has been held in Gauteng as well. This year’s Gauteng expo promises to be one of the highlights on the province’s event calendar.
No matter if your pet is cute and cuddly or cold and scaly, the WODAC expo will have everything that you need under one roof. Sadly visitors are not permitted to bring their own pets to the expo, but they will be able see the latest and greatest in pet products, pet food, pet accessories and grooming equipment. Welfare organisations, pet breeders and clubs will also be represented at the event to offer visitors useful advice.
You are invited to delight yourselves in a packed and entertaining program for the whole family. Brace yourselves for the expanded equine attractions (which will have a program devoted completely to the Magic of Horses), other events like the Dogs of the World Parade, Dog Carting, the Dancing with Dogs South African Championship and lots more.
So, if you live in Gauteng and you are a pet lover, make your way to the WODAC Expo this year, you won’t be disappointed. Entrance costs R60 for everyone on the Friday of the expo and R80 for adults, R65 for pensioners and scholars and R40 for children under 12 on the Saturday and Sunday. The expo will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM daily. Kids under 2 years old can enter for free. Tickets can be bought via Computicket or the entrance fee can be paid at the door.
