We are calling on all our users in the Pretoria region looking for something to do this Saturday to assist Huis Ebenhaéser. Huis Ebenhaéser was established in 1981 by Johnny and Soekie Thomas, who converted their home into a refuge and safe haven for abandoned, neglected and/or abused children and mothers.
Red Mutt Media has teamed up with Feed a Child to come to the aid of Huis Ebenhaéser. They will be visiting Huis Ebenhaéser to assist with the maintenance of the property on 21 February and will be painting, fixing and assisting where possible.
The following is needed in terms of assistance:
- Anyone great at planting vegetable gardens
- Painters
- Handymen
- Artistic people
- People who love children and would assist with the kids
- Photographer
- Bus driver and bus
If you have any of the below, please donate:
- Paint
- Kids’ clothing
- Educational toys and books
- Toiletries
- Gardening tools
- Overalls
- Painting supplies
- Hammer, nails, tools for general maintenance
- Vegetable seedlings
- Pots and soil for a miniature vegetable garden
