One of the age old battles in the animal kingdom has always been the Cats vs Dogs one. These two kinds of animals are humankind’s favorite pets. Both have got personalities of their own. Some people prefer dogs, other prefer cats, all for their own personal reasons that are valid according to themselves.
People who get involved in the whole Cats vs Dogs thing will tell you that domesticated dogs have been around longer than domesticated cats. They’ll also tell you that cats have better hearing than dogs and that dogs have a better sense of smell than cats. Dogs seem to be the more popular choice in South Africa when it comes to this battle, because there are more dogs around than cats. In the end I think that there could never be a winner when it comes to this. The fact remains: Cats and Dogs balance each other out (although some folks might disagree).
Personally I think that cats have way more style than dogs. If you don’t agree, just look at Garfield, Puss in Boots, Felix the Cat, Grumpy Cat, Chemistry Cat and all the other famous cats throughout history. They just have a lot more style than Odey, Benji, Lassie, Jock and Bushveld and Old Yeller. Cats don’t bite too hard either. You may want to call me a pansy, but I’m actually just a gentle person who prefers cats over dogs. Each to his own if you ask me.
