Great news for wine lovers and connoisseurs in Pretoria! The Robertson Wine Valley Festival is coming to Kiviets Kroon on the 3rd and 4th of August 2013. This event is brought to you by the organizers of the Wacky Wine Weekend. Kievits Kroon is a 16 hectare upmarket country estate located at Plot 41, on Reier Road (off Sefako Makgatho Drive) in Kameeldrift East.
The Robertson Wine Valley Festival aims to introduce visitors to some of the best wines that the Robertson valley and its surrounds has to offer. Visitors will be able to sample wines from Robertson, Ashton, McGregor and Bonnievale and can expect top quality and award winning wines.
Indulge yourself in some Chardonnay, sample some Shiraz, take a sip of some Méthode Cap Classique, enjoy some Sauvignon Blanc or take a bottle Cabernet Sauvignon home with you – the choice is yours. Wines will be sold at reasonable prices. It’s also the ideal opportunity for visitors to mingle with winemakers and fellow wine lovers.
There will be fun and entertainment for the whole family at the Robertson Wine Valley Festival at Kiviets Kroon. The estate’s “No Under 14’s” policy will be relaxed for the weekend to permit kids of all ages. Kids can look forward to tractor rides, trailer rides and jumping castles.
The festival will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM on both days. Tickets will be on sale at the gate and will cost R180 per person per day or R320 per person for both days. Tickets include a tasting glass, a bottle of water and a goodie bag. Kids under 18 years old can enter the festival for free.
