It’s that time of the year again… Capital Craft Beerfest time! On Saturday, 13 June, the 3rd installment of this very popular beerfest will be held at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria.
If you’ve been to any of the previous ones, you’ll know that it is an awesome event for beer connoisseurs and social butterflies.
This year boasts more than 25 breweries and 100 beers on tap. Here you will be introduced to a ‘vast variety of micro-manufactured brews from across South Africa’. Long gone are the days of simply buying mass-produced beer, as micro-breweries have fast become the tasty and trendy alternative.
The painstaking efforts taken to brew and mature these specialist beers can be tasted with each and every sip. At the Capital Craft Beer fest, you will be able to sample beers by over 25 different micro brewers from all over the country.
For more information on the brewers that will be showcasing their talent for beer-making, click here or watch the video of the 2014 Capital Craft Beerfest…
In addition to the awesome beers available, the live entertainment promises to be awesome too! Make sure to be there bright and early if you were lucky enough to get tickets; yes, they have already been sold out. If you were a bit of a late-sleeper, make sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page to not miss out on this awesome opportunity in 2016.
The Capital Craft Academy will also be open for business to those that would like to taste the awesome tastes of local, micro-brewed beer!
Make sure to book your transport to and from the festival using Junk Mail.
That is such a good info video, well done to all involved and to watch that and there are no more tickets is a travesty. If anyone has a spare set (yip definitely want to take my Goose with). I would love to buy them.
