Junk Mail Application available on the Nokia Store

Most of you reading this post are probably familiar with the Junk Mail Mobile website. Some of you have been placing FREE adverts from the Junk Mail site and mobi site for years.

It is official we now have a Nokia mobile application that allows you to get regular advert updates while you are on the move. This mobile Application can be downloaded for free from the the Nokia Store (formerly known as Ovi Store). You can send the application to your Nokia phone via this link or by searching for “Junk Mail” whilst logged into the Nokia Store on your Nokia mobile phone. It’s a convenient way to browse the Junk Mail for the latest deals while you are on the move.

This Mobile Application features Live Adverts from 4 categories on the Junk Mail website:

  • Mobile Phones
  • Computers
  • Laptops
  • Software

The Junk Mail application is very user-friendly and is also easy to navigate via your Nokia mobile phone. You can navigate around by  clicking the arrow in the top left corner on the Mobile Application’s screen (which gives you the list of categories). You’ll see a list of adverts in the category you selected.

Clicking on the “See Original Story” link shown on the adverts listed on the application will open up a link to the advert on the Junk Mail website.

Share this post on Facebook and let your friends know about this Junk Mail Nokia App.

If you own a Nokia cell phone, try out this application and let us know what you’re experience was like? The Junk Mail team could look at expanding this application if it becomes popular with our users. Feedback is appreciated and welcome.

Wow!! Now what about an app for a proper smart phone like an iPhone or BB?? Gumtree iPhone app knocks the socks off this app! It is full function, everything you can do on the website, you can do on the iPhone, in fact it is easier on the phone!!

Hi, I agree with Darrel. Also, if u guys are hoping this app gains traction like ur stats would show, I suggest u speed up the cross-platform app development. I am a iPhone user and would gladly like to partake in the app testing, if not already underway. Do you guys have an estimated time for go-live as I see Darrel responded in Feb and still no app.
