While travelling is always fun, make sure your car is ready for the travels too!

- Have the brake fluid, oil and water levels checked before getting on the road
- Make sure people know where you are
- Stop frequently, and rest. There is no need to fly your car to your destination
- Have your car checked by a mechanic if possible
- Take note of any road closures etc. before leaving
