The all new S 1000 RR for 2015 is a superbike that will once again ‘set the benchmark in its class’.
Redesigned by BMW Motorrad engineers, this monster is a genuine Double R, with new technology, design and fittings. A complete revision from its original launch in 2009.
Redesigned
Sexy, razor-sharp flyline, beautifully balanced contours and shapes, the RR is looking finer than ever. Every section and trim component has been redesigned, from the front to the back with greater symmetry.
Better performance
The S 1000 RR now has more power and a reduced weight, making it ‘faster and more agile’. It now has an output of 199 hp (146 kW), 6 hp more than its predecessor, and weighs in at 204kg’s, 4kg’s less than the previous bike. ABS, traction control, a new exhaust system and engine for increased torque is what you can expect from this machine.

A lot of new features have been added to the RR. An entirely new suspension provides for improved traction and better feedback to the rider. Shift Assistant Pro enables optimised propulsion and the e-gas throttle actuator gives more precise and direct control. Not to mention a completely redesigned instrument panel from which to operate all these new features.
The new S 1000 RR for 2015 is seriously the epitome of superbike and worth all the attention it is getting.
