Ever heard of the woman who so desperately tried to save money that she cooked food in the dishwasher while doing the dishes? While she saved money, her lasagna tasted like soap on a rope.
The current economic times mean we all have to tighten the belt a little to make ends meet. However, money saving should never be looking forward to lasagna and getting soap on a rope for dinner!
There are the obvious methods of saving money, like eating out less, car-pooling to work, geyser blankets and so forth. We’ve heard them all!
Have you ever thought of the money saving tips below though?
- Sell the items that are not in use instead of keeping them for in case you need them again in 10 years. We all save those items and eventually realise that if we have not used them in the past 10 years, we are bound not to use them in the next 10 years either.
- Buy items off www.junkmail.co.za instead of buying from shops. Not only will you be saving a few Randela’s, you will also help someone else save a few!
- Swop with other Junk Mail users instead of buying.
