Junk Mail has been around for the past 17 years. 2009 was a very interesting year for the company.

All content became freely available on both the CapeAds and Junk Mail websites in April 2009. Not only did this increase the amount of adverts being placed on our websites, but it also increased the amount of visitors. Going free was an important step and beneficial for both persons browsing our website for items / services and advertisers. In October 2009 the Junk Mail and Cape Ads websites were merged into one giant website. This ensured that Junk Mail and CapeAds advertisers gained more exposure for their adverts.

In 2008 Junk Mail proofread more than 1.7 million adverts. In 2009 Junk Mail proofread more than 2.3 million adverts – an incredible increase in the amount of adverts in 1 year!
